I’m using recycled materials from rescued barnwood we found at a lumber yard in Larkspur. I painted directly onto the barnwood (top right) and have another piece mounted with a painting on copper. The other two longer lengths are primed and ready for single sunflowers that I’ll paint on them. Far left is the wood before I do anything to it. The exterior is deep, dark and oily, while the interior is perfect for painting directly on it. Great fun!
