On the Easel

On the Easel

I love starting new paintings. Here are a couple new ones I’m working on. I’m trying to go big and broad early, then fine tune the details using smaller brushes as I go. Someone asked me to describe my style. Lately, I’m trying to work fast because it creates a fearless, aggressive mentality. I think it transfers energy into the work. Looking forward to going bigger in the future. Ideally, if I could have 8’x11′ boards mounted with paper, I’d work those things hard with textures, colors, create lines in unique ways. Fun! This is a herd of wild horses that’s been gathered for auction. Not sure what to call it. Message me with suggestions!
